Leave a Legacy
By leaving a legacy to ILFA, you can play a key role in helping to build legal excellence and strengthen the rule of law in Africa.
We know that family and friends will be your first consideration in such an important decision, yet your gift to us could be as little as 1% of your estate. Your legacy would provide vital support to ILFA; ensuring our work in Africa which is focussed on legal training and capacity building continues to make an impact for generations to come.
As a registered charity, making a gift in your will is tax efficient as this gift is exempt from Inheritance Tax. If you would like to make or amend your will, we recommend you see a solicitor.
Thank you in advance for your support. If you would like to discuss your legacy with us, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org

- Firstly, you must be a resident in the UK. You also qualify if you are Crown servants or members of the UK armed forces serving overseas.
- You must pay enough UK income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax the charity will reclaim.
- You must also provide ILFA with a gift aid declaration. This happens automatically when you donate to ILFA using PayPal.
