Association of Corporate Treasurers

ACT is an organisation of professionals in corporate finance, risk and cash management in the international marketplace. The website is a portal to information on all treasury matters.

Financial Reporting Council

The FRC is the UK’s independent regulator for corporate reporting and governance. Its functions include: setting and enforcing accounting and auditing standards; statutory regulation of auditors; an independent investigation and discipline scheme for public interest cases; and overseeing the regulatory activities of the professional accountancy bodies. These functions are delivered through a number of subsidiaries, including the Accounting Standards Board (ASB) and the Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP). Financial Conduct Authority

The FCA regulate the financial services industry in the UK. Their aim is to protect consumers and to promote healthy competition between financial services providers. The website includes the Handbook Online, which contains provisions made by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).

Prudential Regulation Authority

The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) is part of the Bank of England and is responsible for the prudential regulation and supervision of banks, building societies, credit unions, insurers and major investment firms. The website contains Monetary Policy Committee minutes and reports; financial publications; banking policies and reports; and bank archives.

Services Board of South Africa

The FSB oversees the South African non-banking financial services industry.

Joint Money Laundering Steering Group

The website is provided by the British Bankers’ Association on behalf of JMLSG. It contains guidance and other important information about countering money laundering.
